The Mk.5 was the definite Chieftain and contained improvement s from previous trials. The Chieftain was for many years the most powerful battle tank within NATO and feared by the Soviet/Russians. Mk.5 final production variant, with upgrades to the engine and NBC protection system. Kit has detailed Tupper and lower hull, detailed suspension, separate track links, two piece main turret with separate cupola, optional access hatches (open or closed), clear parts for periscopes, stowage boxes and cradles, photo etch detail (mesh for stowage cradles and parts to represent diverse brackets), highly detailed barrel and exhaust system.
